"Takara" is the only Japanese dance club at Keio University.

We are active with 37 Japanese people and 13 international students with the purpose that "We would like to invite more people to know about Japanese dance, which is a traditional Japanese culture."
90% of the members are beginners! International students · beginners · experienced · men · other university big welcome!

2. You can receive guidance once a week from veteran Mariho Fujima!

3.You can practice language while doing international exchange!

4.You will be able to wear kimonos yourself.

- What is Japanese dance -

· In Japan's nearly 400 years history, Japan's performing arts condensed Japanese history and spiritual culture, which was accomplished through refinement of classical techniques.

· Using the whole body, expressing the person's mind and scene with each movement, you will acquire nature and supple movement, beautiful posture.

· The Japanese dance, which symbolizes Japanese emotions and aesthetic sense, has been very popular in foreign countries in recent years. By dancing Japanese dance, you can introduce Japanese culture with confidence.
